It is about helping you to problem solve and find answers which are right for you based on your own latent understanding of issues you might have in your life, with the aim of improving your life. It is about identifying what is working and not working so well for you, and looking at your life in a holistic way with the help of a professional LifeStyle Therapeutic Coach, who is experienced in being able to identify optimum ways of improving your life and helping to facilitate your potential.

This is not a generic approach, but a tailored and individualised program for radical change in your life.

How Therapeutic Coaching works

This multifaceted approach is based on the belief that deep down individuals know what they need and have the answers to what they need. My purpose is to help you find these answers.

This is done through a particular kind of conversational approach based on enquiry into what might be going on for you in the present moment.

This would involve attending to your experience of life so far, listening and observing together in a benign way behaviour patterns that might be emerging.

When these techniques are used, you gain greater self-awareness and often an insight you hadn’t seen previously. Having a non-biased, non-judgmental person available to provide focused attention gives you space to understand how to move forward.

I use a multifaceted approach based on many decades of working in many different modalities such as: inner growth work using my understanding of developmental psychology, eastern and western philosophy including existentialism, and psychotherapeutic approaches such as psychoanalysis, dream work, lucid dreaming, gestalt work, meditation, mindfulness based practices and artwork including clay work and ceramics.
